PHASE II ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENTS
Phase II Environmental Site Assessments are most commonly conducted to evaluate Recognized Environmental Conditions identified through Phase I ESAs.

Common components of a Phase II ESA include:
-
Non-intrusive geophysical evaluations to scan sites for subsurface features of interest (underground storage tanks, buried drums, leach fields, filled lagoons, etc)
-
Advancement of soil borings.
-
Collection of soil, groundwater, surface water, soil gas, and/or indoor air samples for laboratory analysis.
-
Review of the collected data with respect to the intended use and goals for the site and applicable regulations.
Huxta Environmental's experience in these due diligence evaluations allows us to develop targeted scopes of work that provide the information needed to make decisions during due diligence. Our knowledge of the overlying environmental regulations and geologic expertise allows us to come to more accurate conclusions on liability exposure, budgets to resolve identified issues, and time to remediate with less information and in less time.
